Free Knitting Patterns For Mittens And Gloves For Adults

Cabled Gauntlets
Knit on double points, the gauntlets use one ball of a yummy cashmere blend yarn and feature symmetrical cables.

Fingerless Gloves
This pattern is finely knit in basic stockinette with extra long ribbing. Work them in one color or jazz it up and work a couple of fingers in different colors as see in the photo.

Lace Fingerless Mitts
Easy lace pattern is used in these reversible fingerless mitts.

Mittens For Children And Adults
Basic mitten pattern knit on double points; jazz it up with a different color yarn for the cuff.

Mitten Formula
This mitten formula allows you to knit any size mitten at any gauge. The Magic Loop Method was used to knit this pattern but it is easy to adapt it to either double points or 2 circulars.

Two Needle Mittens
For those who haven't mastered knitting on double points, try these mittens knit on two needles. An easy slip stitch pattern adds warmth.

Thrummed Mittens
These mittens fit a woman's medium sized hand. You can adjust the size by adding or subtracting 1 inch to the final length of the mitten. The mittens are plump and lightweight!
