This store is very unique. It is located in a beautiful heritage home in St.John's close to the downtown area.
The owner Hazel Abbott has a huge knowledge of wools and knitting. If you are ever having a problem with a pattern she will be more than able to help you. She will even sit you down in a corner of the store and get you to knit until you get it right before you go home.
Wool-Tyme has a large selection of yarns, books, needles, sweaters, cross-stitch and tapestry supplies.
Her yarns included everything from Patons to Specialty yarns.
Hazel has a beautiful store with lots of that Newfoundland hospitality. There is even a cat named Ashes that will greet you at the door.
So if your travels ever lead you to Newfoundland, check out this fabulous store in historic St.John's, the oldest city in North America.
