This store is located in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada- a small city about 15 minutes north of Edmonton, the provincial capital.
Burwood House is owned and operated by May Wooford. She and her staff are friendly and outgoing and make any visit to the store a pleasure. They carry everything for the spinner to the knitter. Every type of wool imaginable and that includes bison and alpaca which is purchased from local suppliers. In addition, they carry all the latest in pattern books and equipment. If you have anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours to browse and love to look at and handle wool - this is the shop to visit.

Sonja Grossenbacher runs her business out of her home. Knitting machines, yarns - hand and machine, crochet thread, machine and hand made sweaters, hand made dolls and supplies. Sonja is
always very helpful and prompt in filling her orders - by mail or in person. Very reasonable prices and many great sale prices. She delivers
quite regularly to the city of Edmonton and will do mail orders as she lives in the country. Will order what you want.
