Short Sleeve Pullover Sweater Knitting PatternDesigned by Barbara Breiter Knit in cotton, this short sleeved pullover sweater for women features a central panel of an easy knit and purl zig zag design on the front and sleeves. Materials: Approx 700 (780, 880) yards worsted weight cotton that will work to the gauge of the pattern. Although you may use other fibers if you wish, cotton gives you crisp stitch definition and shows off this pattern stitch. Cont in pat, working subsequent rows of Pattern Stitch and St st at each end until piece measures same as back with WS row completed. Neck Band Note: If desired, seam both shoulders and work collar on circular needles instead. Seam right shoulder. With RS facing, beg at left neck edge, pick up 10 (10, 12) sts, k 20 (22, 24) sts from front neck holder, pick up 10 (10, 12) sts along right neck edge, k 28 (30, 32) sts from back neck holder.
