Instructions Pattern Stitch Mosaic Lattice - multiple of 12 sts + 3 Row 1 (RS): With Color A, k1, *sl1, k11; rep from * Row 2 and all even rows: With same color, slip all slipped sts and purl all sts knit on the last row. Row 3: With Color B, k4, *(sl1, k1) 3 times, sl1, k5; rep from *, end last rep k4 Row 5: With Color A, k3, *sl1, k7, sl1, k3; rep from * Row 7: With Color B, k2, *sl1, k3, sl1, k1; rep from *, end k1 Row 9: With Color A, k5, *sl1, k3, sl1, k7; rep from *, end last rep k5 Row 11: With Color B, k2, *sl1, k1, sl1, k5, (sl1, k1) twice; rep from *, end k1 Row 13: With Color A, k7, *sl1, k11; rep from *, end last rep k7 Row 15 and 16: With Color B, rep Rows 11 and 12. Row 17 and 18: With Color A, rep Rows 9 and 10. Row 19 and 20: With Color B, rep Rows 7 and 8. Row 21 and 22: With Color A, rep Rows 5 and 6. Row 23 and 24: With Color B, rep Rows 3 and 4. Back Pattern uses a selvedge st at each end. Work the first and last st in St st and the pattern over the remaining sts. These are used for seaming. With smaller needles and Color A, CO 76 sts. Work k1, p1 ribbing 2½". Inc 13 sts evenly over last row - 89 sts includes two selvedge stitches. Change to larger needles and purl one row with Color B. Knit in pattern stitch for 13" or desired length. BO 5 sts beg next 2 rows - 79 sts. Dec 1 st each end every other row 11 times - 57 sts. Work even until armhole measures 9". BO 7 sts beg next row 4 times. Place rem sts on holder. Front Work same as Back until armhole measures 2". Shape Neck Cont dec at armholes as for Back. Work half the sts minus one on the needle at present time. Place center st on holder and rem sts on another holder. At the same time, at neck edge, dec 1 st every other row 12 times, then every 4th row 2 times -14 sts. Work even until armhole measures same as Back. Beg at armhole edge, BO 7 st, work back, BO rem st. Place rem sts from holder back on needle and work in same manner. Neck Band Seam shoulders. With RS facing and circular needles, knit stitches from back holder. Pick up stitches along neckline to the st on the holder, place marker, knit the stitch on the holder, place marker. Work in k1, p1 ribbing 1" decreasing 1 st on each side of marker. BO. Armhole Bands With RS facing and circular needles, pick up appropriate number of stitches along the armhole (see Picking Up Stitches For Necklines And Armholes). Work in k1, p1 ribbing 1". BO.
