Man's Mosaic Pullover

Designed by Barbara Breiter

Man's Mosaic Pullover

Although designed for a man, I think this pattern is equally appropriate for a female as well.

If you're not familiar with mosaic knitting, a few notes are in order.

Mosaic knitting is a colorful technique but not particularly difficult to master. One color is used for two rows, while the other color is not carried along but left waiting where it was joined.

On right side rows, slip stitches with yarn in back; on wrong side rows, slip stitches with yarn in front.

Level: Intermediate
Yarn: 4 skeins navy and 5 skeins wine Webs Park Square cotton (one skein=163 yds/3.5 oz/100g) or appropriate substitution
Needles: 7 and 10½ US
Gauge: 4.8 st=1" 6.5 rows=1"
Size: Large (finished chest measurement=47.5")
