Mock Cable Row 1: WYIF slip 1 as if to p, p4, k1, p1, k5 Row 2: WYIF slip 1 as if to p, p3, k2, p2, k4 Row 3: WYIF slip 1 as if to p, p2, k2, p1, k1, p2, k3 Row 4: WYIF slip 1 as if to p, p1, k2, p2, k2, p2, k2 Row 5: WYIF slip 1 as if to p, k2, p3, k3, p2, k1 Row 6: WYIF slip 1 as if to p, k1, p4, k4, p1, k1 Rep Rows 1-6. Scarf With A and straight needles, CO 12 sts. Work in Mock Cable 24.5", end with Row 6 completed. Place sts on holder. Make another but do not put sts on holder. Hood With B and circular needles (working back and forth), work Row 1 of Mock Cable. Cable Cast On 32 sts. Work Row 1 of Mock Cable on sts from holder, knitting first st instead of slipping.
