Little girls will love these fingerless mittens. They knit up in about two hours! They feature a Mock Honeycomb pattern on the top and stockinette on the palm side.

Fits kids about ages 7-10
Total length: 5.25"
Circumference at hand: 7.5"

Gauge:
16 sts and 20 rows=4" in St st

Materials:
Size 9 US (5.5 mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
1 ball Amazing by Lion Brand Yarn
Color 204 Mesa
53% Wool, 47% Acrylic
50 grams/1.75 ounces
147 yards/135 meters

Left Mitten
CO 24 sts.
Work k1, p1 rib for 3".
Over last row, inc 4 sts evenly - 28 sts.
Next row (RS): BO 3 sts, k across.
Next row (WS): Using the Cable Cast On, CO 3 sts, p across.
Rows 1 and 3: k3, (sl3 wyif, k1) 3 times, k13
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12: p
Row 5: k4, (insert needle under all the slipped stitch strands below and knit the next st bringing the strands over and off the right needle, k3) 2 times, insert needle under all the slipped stitch strands below and knit the next st bringing the strands over and off the right needle, k15
Row 7 and 9: k5, (sl3 wyif, k1) 2 times, k15
Row 11: k6, (insert needle under all the slipped stitch strands below and knit the next st bringing the strands over and off the right needle, k3) 2 times, k14
