Swatch knit by Barbara Belcastro.

This baby blanket features interlocked hearts in knit and purl with a garter stitch border. It is totally reversible.

Size:
Approximately 27 x 37 inches

Materials:
400 grams/940 yards worsted weight yarn
Size 8 US (5 mm) circular needles at least 24 inches long
Size 10½ (6.5 mm) circular needles at least 24 inches long

17 sts=4 inches over pattern stitch with larger needles

Instructions

Note: CO enough sts to have 5 stitches at either side of blanket in garter stitch and enough pattern stitches to equal approximately 27 inches in width total. The pattern repeat is a multiple of 12 stitches plus 9.
