Cabled Christmas Wreath Knitting Pattern

Designed by Barbara Breiter

Cabled Christmas Wreath Knitting Pattern

This could be knit with any cable of your choice. The cables I chose are easy wave cables that vary when they are crossed. The longer you make the tube, the bigger the wreath will be. You could knit this with straight needles but you will need to seam it into a tube before stuffing.

Size:
11.5" in diameter
9" tube circumference (after stuffing)

Gauge:
16 sts =4" in St st; exact gauge is not vital

Materials:
Size 8 (5 mm) double pointed needles
1 skein Vanna's Choice by Lion Brand Yarn or any worsted weight yarn
Color 172 Kelly Green 100% acrylic
3.5 ounces/100 grams
170 yards/156 meters
cable needle
polyfill
ribbon
tapestry needle
wire or ornament hook
