Waist If you want a smaller waist use smaller needles (size 2) for 2 rows, but the dress fits snugly anyway. Single crochet all around neck edge, beginning at back waist all the way round to waist again. Use contrast color if desired. Alternative: Skirt With Orange Stripes Alternate 4 rows of black with 2 rows of orange. When you start the orange rows, K1, Sl across and purl back. In the next black row, Sl, K1 across.
