American Girl Doll Jester Hat Knitting PatternJanice Helge 18 sts=4" with larger needles Materials: Worsted weight yarn Size 7 US needles (4.5 mm) Size 9 US needles (5.5 mm)or size needed to obtain gauge Instructions With smaller needles, CO 50 st. Work 1" of k1, p1 ribbing. Change to larger needles and work 3" of St st. End with a purl row and BO on the next knit row. Turn the hat inside out and sew the back seam. Fold the hat so that the seam is placed in the center back. Sew the top seam on the hat. Turn the hat right side out.
