Double Basket Weave Face Cloth Knitting Pattern

Easy beginner face cloth pattern knit with cotton chenille.

One ball will make two cloths.

Size:
8" wide and 7½" long

Gauge:
15 sts=4" in pattern stitch

Materials:
Cotton Chenille by Crystal Palace Yarns
100% cotton
50 grams/98 yards
Color #4021
Size 6 US (4.25 mm) needles

Instructions
CO 33 sts.
Knit 4 rows.

Knit the first and last 3 sts of every row and begin Double Basketweave Pattern Stitch:

Rows 1, 3, 5, and 7 (RS): knit
Row 2: *k3, p1; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3
Row 4: Rep Row 2
Row 6: k1, *p1, k3; rep from * to last 2 sts, p1, k1
Row 8: Rep Row 6

Rep Rows 1-8 until about 7 inches from beg, ending with Row 4 or 8 completed.

Knit 4 rows.

BO loosely.
