Draw String Duffle Bag

Designed by Bernice Swain

knitting pattern bag bag The base of this purse is crocheted. It allows for a truly round base. Even if you have never crocheted before, it is very simple to crochet this part so do give it a try.

The handle is worked in Tunisian crochet which is quite a different technique than regular crochet. If you are not familiar with this, there are several options. You could crochet a strap by chaining 40 or so stitches and then working several rows of single crochet. Or if you prefer to knit, cast on about 50 sts and work several rows of garter stitch.

2 balls Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick-color Wheat 640-402
