Learn To Knit
The Knit Stitch (K)
Continental Version
In the continental version of the knit stitch, the yarn from the ball is held in your left hand.
The needle with the stitches and the yarn is held in your left hand. The needle in your right hand is empty to begin.
Insert the right hand needle from front to back through the loop closest to you on the left needle.
Lay the yarn over the right needle, so that it is wrapped away from you.
Pull the wrapped yarn through with the right hand needle. You will have a loop on the right needle.
Now remove the stitch from the left needle. Continue the process for each stitch on the left needle.
